The circle is made from a relatively flexible material and is designed to provide a variable amount of resistance, dependent on how hard it is squeezed. There are 2 double sided handles on opposite sides of the pilates ring. This provides a comfortable position to squeeze in with hands, knees or feet. The handles are both on the inside and outside of the pilates ring so that you can work a greater number of muscles by being able to squeeze inwards & outwards. For example, pushing the pilates ring inwards would strengthen the inner thigh adductors whereas pushing the pilates ring outwards would strengthen the outer thigh abductors.
